Whether Selling or Buying a FSBO I can't stress enough to make sure you READ every page you sign. If it takes a day to read and understand the contract then so be it. Don't sign anything you are being pushed into signing. No question is to silly.
BUYERS Do Your Homework ! There are still laws FSBO's need to follow. If you are not working with a REALTOR®, you need to be doing your own research on the house. Go to the court house and look up the Deed. Find out if there are any Liens on the property. (FYI- Liens Run With the Land not the Owner). Defiantly get an inspection.
